Cellulose insulation TEMPELAN
TEMPELAN is manufactured from 85% recycled paper and from 15% dry non-flammable material.
The Diverse fibrous structure of the paper endow TEMPELAN with exceptionable insulation characteristics. We only use cellulose that has been treated with non-toxic Borax and Boric Acid and is U.L. listed.
These additives further enhance the properties of Tempelan and protect against :

Applications and Benefits Using TEMPELAN
Blown-in TEMPELAN is perfect when using the TYPHOON application machine. The TYPHOON machine ensures an even filling of the Cellulose in the space to be insulated. The TYPHOON machine ensures that the Insulation fills all cavities. The Typhoon machine ensures the elimination of Cold Bridging.
Blow-in TEMPELAN makes it possible to reliably fill all narrow and inaccessible spaces.
No other insulation like fiberglass or rock wool is capable to perfectly fill uninsulated space like TEMPELAN insulation.
TEMPELAN, as it is a loose fibrous material, can be blown into wall cavities of any width and any depth depending on the cross jointing and type of palsterboard or similar being used.
This application is carried out with the assistance of a special nozzle, operated by a qualified installer using the TEMPELAN material.
This special nozzle moistens the insulation as it is blown out from the hose which is attached to the machine. In this way the cellulose adheres comprehensively to all surfaces which it contacts.
It is possible therefore, using this material, to insulate inner and outer walls of previously insulated houses. This method has terrific additional advantages as it can be completed prior to second fix of wall coverings such as plasterboard slabing.
In addition this method and use of TEMPELAN is much cheaper, easier to install and more cost effective than other insulation materials.
